VETERINARIAN

Vet Care Pet Clinic is dedicated to improving the lives of not only pets, but also the owners who dearly love them! We are looking for passionate professionals who are committed to animal health and wellness. Our Mobile Vet Care Pet Clinics and Wellness Centers provide services such as diagnostic tests, preventative medications, vaccinations, microchipping, nail trimming, and wellness checks — and we’re looking for more people to join the team!

We are currently seeking a Veterinarian to join our team of passionate animal enthusiasts. We are seeking Veterinarians across all experience levels — whether you are a seasoned Veterinarian or a recent graduate, we would love to connect with you about opportunities with Vet Care so that you can help to advance Veterinary care in our community.

Job Duties and Essential Functions

Performs medical exams, blood draws, vaccinations, nail trims, and microchips

Educates and informs clients about preventative care, recommends ideal products based on their needs

Maintains communication with clients in follow-up calls and emails regarding their pets

Manage medical records using our system — add relevant information and history as the situation requires

Completes medical records by adding relevant information and history into system

Mentor and inspire a productive and effective team

Understand and conform to Vet Care Pet Clinic medical standards and ethical guidelines

Other duties or functions as requested/needed

Qualifications

Education and Training

Licensed Veterinarian in good standing

Health Certificate Accreditation is a plus

Skills and Abilities

Strong knowledge of vaccine protocols

Knowledge of intestinal parasites prevention, Heartworm prevention, Heartworm disease in dogs and cats, Heartworm and flea preventives, and prescription products

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Superior customer service skills

Strong organizational and personal management skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Flexible, innovative thinker who can implement creative solutions

Management and leadership skills to mentor team members

Must successfully pass criminal history background check

Environment and Physical

Able to lift animals and equipment up to 50 lbs (unassisted)

Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, sit, and crouch for prolonged periods of time

Good hand-eye coordination, finger-arm-hand dexterity, and the ability to reach and grasp

CUSTOMER ASSISTANT

Southern California | Part Time Position

CUSTOMER ASSISTANT – VETERINARY

Vet Care Pet Clinic is dedicated to improving the lives of not only pets, but also the owners who dearly love them! We are looking for passionate professionals who are committed to animal health and wellness. Our Mobile Vet Care Pet Clinics and Wellness Centers provide services such as diagnostic tests, preventative medications, vaccinations, microchipping, nail trimming, and wellness checks, and we’re looking for more people to join the team!

We are currently seeking a Customer Assistant to join our team of passionate animal enthusiasts. The Customer Assistant provides support in various facets of our veterinary office. They provide excellent customer service to clients, answering their questions and navigating them through the clinical process. Customer Assistants will make recommendations to clients based on their pet’s lifestyle and needs, label/dispense pet medications, collect laboratory samples, review paperwork, and process payments.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Previous customer service or sales experience preferred

Must have a flexible work schedule — ideal candidates will be available on various different days, times, and most weekends.

Reliable transportation to office

Must possess a valid driver’s license

Must successfully pass criminal background check and motor vehicle record check

Skills and Abilities

Must enjoy working with animals, particularly cats and dogs

Must be comfortable lifting and handling pets of various sizes, temperaments, and breeds

Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude

Punctual and dependable

Knowledge of basic sales principles in customer service roles, such as making recommendations to clients

A personable and friendly attitude for customer service

Able to work autonomously without direct supervision

Environment and Physical

Must be able to drive a company vehicle.

Must be able to work long hours in the field, with the possibility of 9-12 hour days

Must be okay doing some work and activities outside

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (non-assisted)

Must be able to stand, walk, and move about for long periods of time.

Our Mobile Vet Care Pet Clinics and Wellness Centers provide services such as diagnostic tests, preventative medications, vaccinations, microchipping, nail trimming, and wellness checks, and we’re looking for more people to join the team!

We are currently seeking a Vet Technician to join our team of passionate animal enthusiasts. The Vet Technician provides support in various facets of our veterinary office. They provide excellent customer service to clients, answering their questions, and navigating them through the clinical process. Vet Technicians will work hand in hand in assisting Veterinarians with restraining and vaccinating pets.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older

High School Diploma or equivalent required
