Vet Care mobile clinics are walk-up pet vaccine and wellness clinics that come directly to your neighborhood. No office visit, no appointment, and no residency requirement. Just bring your pet and walk up.
How long has Vet Care been operating mobile clinics?
Vet Care has been serving Southern California pet owners since 1997. Our mobile clinics have been a core part of our mission to make affordable pet care accessible to every community.
Are your veterinarians licensed in California?
Yes. All veterinary services at our mobile clinics are performed by or under the supervision of California-licensed veterinarians.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
Do I need an appointment?
No appointment is needed. All of our mobile clinics are walk-up only. Just arrive during clinic hours with your pet.
Do I need to be a resident of the city to attend?
No. Our clinics are open to all pet owners regardless of where you live.
Do I need to bring past vet records?
Past records are not required but are helpful if you have them, especially if your pet has had previous vaccines or health conditions.

How old does my pet need to be to receive vaccines?
We recommend puppies and kittens be at least 6 to 8 weeks old before beginning their first vaccines. Not sure if your pet is ready? Our staff can assess them when you arrive and recommend the right services for their age.
Can I bring more than one pet?
Yes, you are welcome to bring multiple pets. We recommend arriving early if you have more than one to minimize your wait time.
AT THE CLINIC
Do I need to fill out paperwork when I arrive?
Yes, you will complete a brief intake form when you arrive. Our staff will walk you through it.
My dog is nervous around other animals. Is that okay?
Yes. Please let our staff know when you arrive and we will do our best to make your pet comfortable throughout the visit.
I have a senior pet. Can they still come?
Absolutely. Our team will assess your pet and recommend the most appropriate services based on their age and health.
Do you have Spanish-speaking staff?
Yes. A Spanish-speaking team member is available at every mobile clinic to answer questions and help your visit go smoothly. Se habla español.

What services are available at the mobile clinics?
Our mobile clinics offer dog and cat vaccinations including rabies, microchipping with lifetime registration, wellness exams, flea and tick prevention, and deworming. For a full list of services and pricing, visit vetcarepetclinic.com.
Do you offer wellness exams?
Yes. Wellness exams are available at our mobile clinics.
Do you carry prescription flea and tick prevention?
Yes. We carry prescription flea and tick prevention products including NexGard, Bravecto, and Heartgard.
Can my pet get spayed or neutered at the mobile clinic?
No. Spay and neuter procedures are only available at our Garden Grove hospital. Visit vetcarepetclinic.com to learn more about hospital services.
Will I receive proof of vaccination?
Yes. You will receive a vaccination certificate at the time of service for all vaccines administered at the clinic.
PRICING AND PAYMENT
How much do services cost?
Pricing varies by service. For city partner events, rabies vaccines are available at a special discounted rate. For a full pricing list, visit vetcarepetclinic.com or ask our staff when you arrive. Prices are subject to change.
Are there any additional fees I should know about?
A $3.00 medical waste disposal fee applies to all clinic visits. A 3% card processing fee applies to all card payments.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and Apple Pay. A 3% card fee applies to all card transactions.
AFTER YOUR VISIT
What if my pet has a reaction after vaccination?
Mild reactions such as soreness or fatigue are normal after vaccines. If your pet experiences severe symptoms such as vomiting, swelling, or difficulty breathing, contact an emergency veterinary clinic immediately and call us at 1-800-988-VETS.
When should I come back for boosters?
Booster schedules vary by vaccine and your pet’s age. Our staff will advise you at the time of your visit and your vaccination certificate will include any recommended follow-up information.
